Summary
Natural Aesthetics addresses the foundational principle that skin health reflects overall wellness. Like other functional medicine treatments, natural aesthetics focuses on lifestyle modifications to optimize internal health and thereby enhancing the health of their skin. In addition, natural aesthetics utilizes the body’s own healing elements and pathways to stimulate collagen production, reduce fine lines and create volume and radiance.
Treatment
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is obtained from the patient’s own blood with a simple blood draw in the office. The plasma is separated from the blood and is used to rejuvenate the skin. Microneedling uses tiny, sterile needles to repeatedly puncture the skin to stimulate collagen production. PRP is applied during the microneedling procedure to introduce growth factors that increase collagen production. We also offer PRP injections to the midface, brow and lower face to add volume, stimulate collagen and reduce pigmentation as a natural alternative to filler.
